Hi all, this is my first post, sorry if it's in the wrong place but I couldn't find an off topic area. I am Adam, I live in Kingston Ontario in Canada and just got my first Hobie. I grew up racing Laser >>'s in the mid 90's, and since then "upgraded" to a Minuet 19 Bluenose design club racer. My old skipper got a DS22, and we thought we had it made. Now 15 years later we found ourselves going through youtube vids of dinghys and then found ourselves looking at hobies, we always loved the speed and style of the hobies and realized we had to get one. We found a project boat down the street and now we are official hobie owners! We will be repairing the seemingly ubiquitous foredeck soft spots and re-gelcoating over the winter, can't wait! BTW, I like posting pics, so you all can give me pointers along the way
