just got my first sailboat, a hobie cat holder 12, circa 1996. The upper mast comptip has fine loose fibreglass threads about 1/2 inches,freely coming off the mast;itchy and prickly. I tried a little Westsystem, G-flex epoxy on a section, hoping that mast flex won't crack it. |
