I have a 10' Jon Boat that looks like it wikk fit underneath my H-16 while on the trailer. Has anybody done this? any reasons not to? ANy ideas welcome. Also I saw that someone mentioned trailering a H-16 backwards for solo most stepping. Is there any disadvantage to this? I dont see one but I am a little worried about trying it. Thanks in advance to all, Andre |

I used to carry a 14' semi v alum boat under my H-16. The cat went bow forward an the alum boat backward. It worked out real well. Just check the tounge weight . |

My concern with stepping the mast of a cat that is backwards on the trailer is if it should drop for any reason while stepping... it just got really expensive. Plus I find I can balance the trailer better for my situation with the cat on "normally". The H16 mast is able to be solo stepped (do a search on this forum) without having it backwards or sloping down a hill. |
