I have done this photo mount with photoshop could someone confirm that the kit is placed where shown?

Hi Splash,

Yup, that looks right. If you look at the balls, you'll see that there is a hole for the cotter pin to go through. One side has wider cut-outs than the other side - it's designed so that the loop of the cotter pin goes in one side, and the 2 ends of the pin can spread apart well in the other (wider) side. Also, those ball ends will be a very tight fit over the spreaders. At first I thought I had the wrong size somehow but they went on without too much hastle - just keep pushing and prying.

As for the smaller pieces, put them over the ends of the clevis pins and line up the holes. Then just put the cotter pin through the holes in the clevis pin and guard together and spread the ends of the cotter pins.

I'll try to get some pictures to you tonight, but it looks like you've got it figured out.
