Would like to know where all of you purchase your rope from for mainsheet, jib, downhaul etc? I need to replace the jib sheet on my hobie 16.

Also do you know how many feet of rope I need for the jib sheet and what diameter etc?

Thx

Call your Hobie dealer! They know the best size, type , and length. Support the dealers or they will be gone! Goog?

I usually troll the Sale Line section of Annapolis Performance Sailing's site. You can often find spool ends and returns for fractions of the list price.

The amount you need is small and you can usually find something there.

APS also has an annual line blowout right after the first of the year. Their website is:

I don't have any local Hobie dealers, so I buy my rope from Milwaukee Rigging on Ebay. Cheap with reasonable shipping.

I have used Murray's and they are awesome, I live in FL and the nearest dealer is an hour away, Suprising as there is water everywhere. But I found murray's online, Called them and have used their website, After talking to them and using them for my parts They have gain a customer for life!!! Plus I think their prices are reasonable.

Can't argue with Murray's selection or customer service. Keep in mind however, they'll never sell anyone a Hobie Cat. Support your local Hobie dealer. If you don't have one nearby, some dealers offer a great selection of parts and accessories online. I shop almost exclusively at Mariner Sails online, http://www.mariner-sails.com. They're the Dallas area Hobie dealer but they ship anywhere. If you don't find what you need online call Mariner and they'll get it if they don't have it. They're extremely knowlegeable and offer free shipping to military. Other good options include Surf City Catamarans in Santa Cruz, CA; Sun Jammers in Panama City, or Key Sailing in Pensacola.
