att: Matt Millin, When reading about hull #'s for a H18 all seem to end with a letter. My 1986SE ends with...586 Does this mean my boat was built in May of 1986? Thanks...DJ |

Hull numbers (Since the 80's) end in digits as you described. The hull ID decoder is here: http://www.hobiecat.com/support/articles/archive/?src=http://2010.archive.hobiecat.com/support/warranty/sailserial.html 586 is built in 85 ans a 86 model year. The month is the letter preceding these three digits. |
