I want to add a new cleat to the front cross bar on the top, port side to make it more accesible, what type of cleats would you recomend?? Thanks |

Something like the small Lance Cleat. That has a small spring loaded jaw. Once the line is released it will not get hug up. The V jaw cleats always require you to guide the line out so it will not cleat itself. |

Small spinlock would work nicely. They make one with a swivel base as well. Put a stop ball on the end to keep it in the cleat and its fool proof. |

Layline.com, They are a sailboat company in Raleigh, NC. Mostly cater to mono slugs. Look in spinnaker running gear section. I have used these for spin halyards in the past, work great. |
