I want to add a new cleat to the front cross bar on the top, port side to make it more accesible, what type of cleats would you recomend??
Thanks

Something like the small Lance Cleat. That has a small spring loaded jaw. Once the line is released it will not get hug up. The V jaw cleats always require you to guide the line out so it will not cleat itself.

Small spinlock would work nicely. They make one with a swivel base as well. Put a stop ball on the end to keep it in the cleat and its fool proof.

Layline.com, They are a sailboat company in Raleigh, NC. Mostly cater to mono slugs. Look in spinnaker running gear section. I have used these for spin halyards in the past, work great.
