Hey I remember a few years ago that someone put together a Hobie Racing Calendar with pictures from the previous years racing. Anyone have any idea if this is in the works for this year? Thanks, Adam |

That someone would be me. I'll see if I can scrape up some time between doing the next Hotline, overhauling the HCANA website, etc., etc. Frankly, it's kind of low on the priority list. Any volunteers? I've got about 30 gigs of photos (that's about 10,000 in case you were wondering) for you to go through. |

I take it there is more to it than picking out 12 photos? 13 photos (including the cover) In selecting the photos, you need to cover all the racing classes - 14, Wave, 16, 17, 18, Tiger, Wildcat, 20, Women, Youth. They should be the best of the best of the best. Another problem is that the best of the photos are already in the Hotline. You need to get permission from all the photographers. That's usually not a problem, but it does take time. Straighten, crop, color correct, insert photo credits and upload. I can handle the last part, but I'm already looking at almost 2000 photos from the 16s / 20s. Let me know if you want to help. |

Seriously. If you are going to delegate, you'd need first to ask volunteers to sort and group. Group 14s, 16s, 17s, Tigers, and so on. Also you'd have to figure out how to get folks access to the pics. Log in volunteers access one at a time to the files to sort the pool into folders? |
