Post subject: | Lines, Halyards replacement |
Anybody know a good, economical source for lines/halyards for mainsheet/jibsheet, etc. etc. (all the lines we need for H14 and H18) ?? Mine are all pretty old/tired and I'd like to start replacing them all with out declaring bankruptcy. Thanks for your input. |

Basically any boating store. You don't need to get the high tech spectra lines. just stick with the basic Dacron lines and you won't break the bank. |

I just replaced all running rigging on my "big" boat. Try www.boatus.com. They carry most brands - lots of choices of types available, and usually have various good - excellent cordage on sale. Unless you're a serious racer, core dependant line is not necessary (eg. spectra, vectran, etc...). Stick with dacron (there's even excellent low stretch dacron available at low prices). |
