Hi, I was looking and reading the "Hotline" as I had inquired about sail colors over the years (posted on Hobie 16 forum). Read that because of slow production in the 80's the multiple stripped sail panels were eliminated.

My sails are the "Prism" from 1983 even though my hulls are from nov 1987! Need new sails but thats a different story.

I was wondering what manufactuer was supplying Hobie Cat with the Dyed Dacron they used to make these funky sails.
I know Dacron is polyester cloth, trademark registered by DuPont, but who was actually dying these cloths and supplying??

thanks!
