Fleet 297 is hosting another awesome fun weekend.. The highlight of this one is to help Eric and Debbie celebrate their Anniversary in style!
June 8th and 9th on Clinton Lake, Lawrence, KS
At around 10am on June 8th we will have a Hobie U class with several very experienced skippers (some of them are even pretty good
)out to help with tips and tricks to make sailing your Hobie easier, and faster, on and off the water.At 1:00 PM the Kansas Sailing Association will be hosting three races. This is part of our Fleet points series, and all are not only welcome but highly encouraged to join. If you think you have any interest the fun and challenges of racing Hobie's, this is the perfect opportunity in a more relaxed environment to try your hand at it. (all boats welcome at the line, not a Hobie Points event)
After that fun there will be Pot luck BBQ on the beach... Camping very nearby..... Maybe a night sail...
Then on the 9th if the winds are fair... A hull flying contest... Or we may even drop some marks for some reaching "drag" racing, practice starts, and some boat handing 'training' on the lake..
Anyone who has attended one of our fun days/weekends can tell you... These are ALWAYS a great time!
