Will be camping near Clearlake this weekend. Thinking of bringing the H16, but not sure. Any info on sailing and wind on Clearlake is appreciated. Thanks a ton! |

I live in S. CA, but have sailed there on our H16 years ago while on a sailing trip all over CA. Warm and windy and scenic too. We camped at Will-o-Point ??? campground in Lakeport, CA. Clear Lake is the largest lake in CA. Lake Tahoe is larger, but only part of it is in CA; the rest is in Nevada. If we lived closer to Lakeport/Clear Lake we'd be sailing there all the time. Enjoy your weeekend there! |
