Site ranks, on the left side under the name, have changed and I do not like them.

Any ideas? I just removed the Hobie racing angled verbage...Novice - A Fleet. WE need something universal to all of our products and recreation too.

You could just put some general sailing names in there..

"Cabin boy"
"Swab"
"Matey"
"Midshipman"
"Leftenant" / "Lieutenant"
"First Mate"
"Captain"
"Admiral"
"Commodore"

Just tossing out ideas...

I know I'm real late on this one, but any Sailor worth his salt knows that Chief's make the Navy run.

A sign in our parts department used to say: "Do you want to talk to the man in charge... or the woman who knows what's going on?"

That still fits today! :)

I've never paid any attention to it. I just posted now to see what my ranking is.

Edit: Not sure if "old salt" is an insult or a commendation. I guess I can live with it either way.

Just to be clear!

Old salt
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An "old salt" in the English speaking naval services is often a raconteur, or teller of sea stories. Much of the history and traditions of the naval services are passed from generation to generation of service members by these sea stories as told and retold by old salts. Sea stories may be truthful, half-truths, or falsehoods, however they always enhance the reputations of naval and Marine units, or individuals.
