I've seen quite a few trailers designed to haul 2 cats but I now have a a double jet ski trailer for the boy's jet skis & would like to alter it to put the H16(for me and the wife) on top.....crazy idea ? Has it been done ? Anyone seen this, have pics ???? Definitely would be a lot nicer to take one vehicle than 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If your trailer is big enough it can be done. I would build it so it is removable. 2 vertical post with a cross bar. Bar should be the same length as your cradles on regular hobie trailer. Need setup front and rear. |

Jet ski trailers tend to be a lot shorter than Hobie trailers. I don't see how it would work unless you extended the tongue a lot. Even then, the main frame section may still be too short to get enough spread between the hull crossbars. You'd also have to make sure you're not overloading the trailer. By the time you add the boat, gear, and double stack frame, you're probably looking at close to 500 or more additional pounds. I guess anything's possible. It just depends on how much money and effort you want to put into it. sm |
