Please RSVP to Ron Holm @ 913-284-6571 so I can prepare the course materials and tailor the lesson plans to suit you the very best! Tuesday, May 13th 7:00-9:00 PM at Jim's Sail and Kayak, Lenexa KS Hobie U Orientation, introduction, boat anatomy, set-up, nomenclature, basic sailing Saturday, May 17th 11:00 AM at the KSA, Clinton Lake Boat set-up, inspection, instruction and practice Tuesday, May 20th 7:00-9:00 PM at Jim's Sail and Kayak, Lenexa KS Sailing upwind and tacking Tuesday, May 27th., 7:00-9:00 PM at Jims Sail and Kayak, Lenexa KS Sailing downwind and gybing BONUS CLASSES!!! Saturday, May 10th. 11:00 AM at the KSA,Clinton Lake. Introduction to racing and Race Committee training. Ron Holm is the Race officer on this date and would encourage anyone who even thinks they might be interested in racing to join him on this date. From the Committee boat you will easily become comfortable with the rules of the water, the starting sequence and the action on the water. Friday, May 30th 7:00-900 PM at the KSA, Clinton Lake. Everything you need to know to join us at the Point for Points Regatta. Rules of Racing (nothing to it!!!) Experienced racers will be on hand to help you tune your boat and make certain you know and have everything you need to enjoy the Point for Points Regatta on Clinton Lake, Lawrence KS. |
