Post subject:  what is the best colour tramp to buy?
For my Hobie 16? I imagine will stay coolest in the sun, which is what I want. Will it also be more durable than a darker colour (e.g. blue or black)? Appreciate any advice!

It sounds counter intuitive, but black mesh is the best.

It doesn't get significantly hotter than any other color and you'll never see dirt on it.

Black mesh! Strangely enough, black holds up better to UV. My much abused Hobie black mesh lasted 25 years before it finally gave out!

My buddy just picked up a 2007 Hobie Miracle 20 with a factory grey tramp. Looks fantastic. Everyone has a black one ;) try what ever one you think looks good!

I would pick a colour based on colour theme and current sail set i.e. the turq coloured tramps look great with multi colours or the Misty series sails. Black goes with anything really.
