Post subject:  GoPro Atop The Mast - Sailing with Chloe in South Australia
The long hot summer is coming to an end here and 14 y/o Chloe 'the brave little dog' has almost completed another sailing season. Chloe is the star of 'Catamaran Dogamaran' and other videos, filmed when she was much more agile in the legs; she dislocated her spine 2 years ago and has been rather handicapped since.

Before John met Chloe she'd rarely been out of the neighbour's yard where she lived a sad and lonely life for years. :(

I remember the first day I took her to the beach and how she cried when I carried her into the sea. Her new and exciting life started in earnest after I had been taking her sailing/walking/swimming/driving/jogging every second day for another few years - I adopted her when her owner died in 2011. No more overseas backpacking for me but a promise is a promise and Chloe is here to remind me all day, every day - 24/7. :P And that's fine with me!

Now Chloe prefers the light winds as you will see here in this video with the GoPro 4 atop the mast:


Please take a look around your street and adopt a dog, give it a little joy with the occasional outing.

DO IT FOR THE DOGS! :P

And to 'Creative' - trying to avoid the 'SELFIE' - the smaller me, the better. Camera atop the mast I can film the other boats around me as well as the most important part of my video - the beauty of what's below the surface. Going out today to see if we can find some dolphins.

Chloe 'the brave little dog' can still be the star when I use my Olympus Tough on deck. That camera records the sound which I can dub in to replace the terrible GoPro clicks and bangs, that way I don't have to overpower the sound with LOUD music. :wink:
