I spent more time than I care to admit putting this together. GoPro video from late last year at Lake Guntersville, AL, Panama City Beach, FL, and Arkabutla Lake, MS. Two forum members are also seen on their Hobie 16s in the video. |

Great video and love the color combination of the pontoons. Quick question: what did you use to mount gopro next to bridle? Also curious what software you use to edit your videos, as I liked how the horizon line was staying parallel, while one of the pontoons was lifting up. Thanks a lot. |

Also curious what software you use to edit your videos, as I liked how the horizon line was staying parallel, while one of the pontoons was lifting up. I don't think I have a picture of my setup, but I'll try to describe it. I use an extension link like this bolted to an open hole on the 10 hole chainplate. With those two extension arms you can get a variety of angles from the front. The biggest thing was figuring out how to bolt up and angle it so that I can use the bridle fly wind indicator at the same time. that thing takes up a lot of real estate on the chainplate. The other mount I use is simply a sticky mount on the top of the hull as far foreward as I can go. I used Adobe Premiere Pro 6.0 to edit this one, but any editor that lets you add keyframes to control the amount of an effect over time would work. That's how I coordinated the rotation angle of the video with the flying of the hull to keep the true horizon level.
