Post subject:  Hull deformation in front of trampoline post.

Hi, I'm considering buy a hobie 16 and the current owner says there is a slight depressed area in front of the trampoline post on one of the hulls. He says it is not soft.

I have posted a similar thread in the hobie 16 forum but hoping for more replies here. Does anyone have advice on this? We would like to purchase the boat but we are worried a little about pylon detachment problem. Also, in the pictures you can see that it has inspection ports. Perhaps the hulls have been worked on before. Is this an acceptable place for inspection port?

Don't buy it.... you will spend a lot of time and money and still be sailing a junky undependable boat....

That hull is dead - it just doesn't know it yet.

There are serious structural problems indicated by that deformation.
