Post subject:  Need a proper part name

finally got to turn my 1983 H16 loose today. All and all it went well but there's a line we need to replace but in my manual I can't find its name. It's the line that runs though the main traveler, not the large diameter mainsheet but the smaller line that is fastened to the back of the tramp platform. I think it's 5/16 diameter, same as the jibsheet, we are actually using the old jibsheet for this but it's in horrible shape. So what the hell is it called? I'm trying to color code all my lines and I want to make sure I have the right kind of rope for the job. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Typically your mainsheet is used for this as well. Especially if your only social sailing having a single line to control both mainsheet and traveller is idea. Less mess and lines laying about on the tramp.
Have alook here at the line guide:

Traveler line or traveler sheet. And yes, 99% of people just use the tail end of the mainsheet, this way if you're holding onto one, you have access to both.
