I found cat tires on amazon for $30. I have been looking for years and the cheapest I could find before was $50. Nanco Slick Bias Tire - 21x12.00R8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007U1S49Q/re ... 1zbYPMXYR1 |

Looks like they were originally 47.51, so that's a good deal at 30 bucks |

when you ordered that tire, did it come with the wheel hub? not 100% certain, but looks like walmart has it now: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nanco-N800-2 ... b0QAvD_BwE |

They do not come with the rims or valve stems for that price. They will also need to be mounted (my Walmart said they couldn't mount them so I went to a GoodYear store for this). The complete tire & rim assembly from Florida Starcraft is $169 each. I bought a used Florida Starcraft cat trax in great shape (except the dead tires) last year for $50 and for another $130 got 2 new tires (including mounting, etc.). Now, if I could only find a set of hull cradles (for a H16) at a good price. |

I've replaced the tires on my 30 year old cat trax with these: https://www.giga-tires.com/21-12.00-8/n ... cUQAvD_BwE They were out of stock on Amazon when I needed them. There are also tubes for them that I recommend using. They aren't That hard to get on the wheels without having to take them to a tire place. There are plenty of junked ATV's sitting around if you need wheels. |

I agree that mounting the tires on the rims is a lot easier if you use inner tubes. I didn't, but will in the future if they won't stay inflated. |
