I am new to Hobie sailing. Have not been on it yet and right now Lake Erie is icing over... Question: What stops my trapeze harness hook from "bouncing out" of the trapeze loop? There is about a 3/8" clearance. I just got a Gul Evolution harness from Santa. |

When you’re trapped out, your weight holds your hook on the ring. When you’re hooked in but just sitting on the boat, the bungee on the end of the trap wire pulls the ring up into your hook. But it’s always a good idea to double check that the hook is engaged before stepping out over the side. sm |
