| Post subject: | H14 Mast, sail, and boom rig needed |
I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have a Hobie 14. I'm looking for a mast, main sail, jib, battens, boom, and all rigging equipment. I'm new to this, and don't know where to shop, or tap into purchasing used equipment. I'm open to any suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

That's a lot of parts. If you have to get them in multiple purchases, you may be better off acquiring another used 14 and keeping what you already have for spare parts. (Or purchasing some other model and selling what you've got.) You mention a jib. Are you sure you have a H14 Turbo (includes dolphin striker, large grommets in tramp, etc.)? For used parts, you can search the For Sale and post in the Wanted classified sections here and on thebeachcats.com. Dan Berger and others have lots of used parts, but shipping can be very costly. Search Tempest can be helpful as well as Ebay. I'm pretty sure that I know of a H14T for sale in Ocean Springs MS. If that interests you, send me a PM and I'll help connect you. Good Luck! |

I have all of that stuff for sale. Contact me off list at [email protected]. or call 641-425-8720 I wish I would have seen your post a month ago, we were just in Shreveport for a regatta. I even have a mast bob to go on the 14 mast. |
