The last time I was in PV I rented an old 16 from a guy and his wife that lived in a tent on the beach outside the Holiday Inn. The hiking stick was a rope with a knot at the end of it and both rudders would not lock down. (great arm workout) The battens were hanging out and my girlfriend was terrified. When I did return after an hour, they asked if I was a professional sailor, of course that made my week. This was a year ago. The guy was missing so many parts, that I doubt there was a hobie dealer. Trade embargo?......... can you buy one in the US and have it shipped. A 16 would be great, but since your in Mexico a wave would work too.
