Looking for fellow Hobie enthusiasts around the area. Recently bought a 18SX and looking for some experienced cat people to have mercy on me and a few lessons maybe. Can't wait to learn how to sail this thing ![]() |

Why put it up for "sale" if you just bought it? |

I'm trying to find someone to possibly give me a few lessons and to help me learn the best way to rig it. Definitely not selling it. |

There used to be EMSA (Eastern Multihull Sailing Assn.) over that way, but it looks to be defunct. Keowee Sailing Club (https://www.keoweesailingclub.com/) has at least one multihull regatta per year.....they may know of some Hobie folk closer to you. I know that there are recently active multihull sailors around High Point at Oak Hollow Sailing Club (http://www.ohsc.us/). I see that you also posted on https://www.thebeachcats.com/. Try PMing leeboweffect over there....I think he's an Oak Hollow guy. I'm bettin' somebody knows somebody who can help and is not too far from you. |
