does anyone have any knowledge of them? or any performance tips they might like to share? i have one, and its hard to find anyone with the same boat....mine is an 03 model....i got it second hand from sunsail club. Rigging suggestions would be nice, also my rudders are either locked down or up, for them to come up, you HAVE TO unlock the tiller bar, is this normal?
Thanks for any help!

That is a Hobie Europe product, so maybe the euro website? We don't sell them in the Americas. www.hobie-cat.com

The rudder system is the same though. There should be a rotating cam. Hit the beach and the rudders release or lift the tiller arm to release. They do need to be greased though to work properly.

matt, i know that they are made in europe, i was just hoping by any chance i could talk to someone with one of them in the americas, getting around on the europe website is a pain...they dont even have forums to ask anything, i sent them an email to find out where the closest dealer is to the caribbean and i havent gotten an email back for 3 days now so....
About the rudder, how could you tell that there is a Cam problem? mine seems to be stuck. How do you adjust the rudders anyway? this is very confusing to me...

Cam...

It is a common issue that the cam will lock in the "Lock" down position. Use a small blade screw driver to force the plunger down to allow the cam to rotate open or a larger blade driver in the side of the cam to rotate the cam open. Lubricate the area that the plunger runs over with some grease. Maybe try a little WD-40 squirt first to help a dry cam open.

Adjust in what way?

okay, i will try to open the cam...
by adjustment i mean, to set the tension that the rudders kick up when striking an under-water object.
Thanks
