How do you guys transport your beach wheels? I've got the CadCat wheels which split apart in the middle of the axel via an Allen bolt (very nifty), but I'd rather not put them in the car or truck if they can be transported on the trailer. Also, where do you store the wheels? I keep the 18 and trailer at a dry storage yard, but am leery of leaving the wheels on the trailer? I'm thinking of fashioning some line and hooks and hang them from the ceiling in the garage. |

Ends are supported by "U" shaped steel straps, welded to the trailer crossbar. Center is supported by mid-trailer transverse frame (padded). On my Trailex / Tiger trailer, the same set of wheels is mounted transversely on the tongue / frame of the trailer (padded) with the cradles underneath the hulls. |

I transport mine on top of the bows of the boat with the cradles facing down. I just tie each side down around the hull. |

I moved my toy box to one side, clamped two 1" steel conduit pipes for & aft on the trailer cross bars. Beach wheels slide on & off under the boat in seconds. BTW: lock them up when not in use. if you want a picture drop me a e-mail at djanddale "at" charter.net |

Put mine in front of crossbar on hulls with cradles down. Have a bowline in the ropes on each end. Run line through the trailer tie down C shaped clamps and back through bowline. Then just cinch it tight. Works fine and also works as a tie down for front of boat. I never had trouble with wheels outside, BUT then again you had to punch a code to get into storage unit. Doug |

I transport mine on the stern of the boat. ![]() Since this photo was taken, I've added cradles to the wheels which make for a nice fit over the hulls. |
