I'm looking to get into the sport of sailing and get a boat and all. I was wondering if there was anybody in the area that might be able to help me look at boats and/or teach me the basics of sailing one of these boats. I've got minimal experience on a 19' catalina, that's it. |

Where are you at in SJ...I"m down in Pittsgrove. Just bought a getaway last year near end of season. We only got out 3 times but had a blast. The local fisherman are still tryin" to figure out why I got radar (mast bob) on a small sailboat ! If you"re looking for a Hobie try Bay Cats in Ocean City, see Don. Just checked their web site and he has a couple of 16"s and a 2004 getaway listed. The web site is Bay Cats.com. Sailed mono"s for awhile, Then I sailed a wave in Jamaica about 7 yrs. ago and haven"t sailed a mono since! Sailed Union Lake last fall, I"ll problably sail there and want to try sailing out of East Point on the Del. Bay. If I see or here of something local I"ll post it here or I can e-mail. Good luck! |

Good deal man. Thanks for the info. You can reach me on here, or email, doesn't matter. I'm going to check out baycats and see if I can find any deals. I'm always checking craigslist too. Well, I gotta get ready for work, but KIT. |
