Does anyone have any advice on commercially available rollers I could attach to my dock to make it easier to pull my boat onto my dock? My cottage is on an island with no beach, the only way I can step the mast on my Hobie 16 is to pull it onto the dock. I'm considering the type of roller in the link below. Comments welcome. https://www.rona.ca/en/product/multinau ... -330611241 |

I had a similar setup and used a pair of V-rollers mounted on a treated 2x6 bolted to the edge of the dock - worked surprisingly well for guiding the hulls up without damage. If your dock sits a bit high, you might also want to add a short ramp or some bunk carpet to smooth the transition. |
