I own a 18 foot cat, had great plans to sail with my wife. Well my wife has seen too many video's of high wind sailing and big rolls, So she wants nothing to do with it. (I also iceboat, so yea) I've been chasing a title for the boat for 3 years, Wisconsin is a pain. I think I finally have a title coming. And I've excepted that I will be solo sailing. So I plan on selling the 18 and looking for a good solo setup. I'm a big guy, 6'6", 290 lbs as a note. |

We need a little more information. Are you into speed and risky sailing, or just casually tooling around? Will you be sailing solo? Trailer sailor or mast-up storage near the water? Why are you considering replacing your current boat? |
