I am currently using http://www.sailflow.com to determine where the wind is blowing. Does anyone have any other suggestions for online wind indicators that have coverage of NorCal? |

I like wunderground.com for my area. They're usually a little conservative on wind forcasts. Where yahoo, and the weather channel are a might optimistic. |

I use the already mentioned windfinder site together with wunderground and this map http://www.intellicast.com/national/wind/windcast.aspx You can click on your area for detail, remember the maps are in UTC time. |

For inland sailors, away from major bodies of water, this is, IMO, the best. http://www.usairnet.com/ Specificly for wind direction and wind speed forecasts. ![]() |
