I know this has probably been covered but I cant find it, I have a 1980 H16 and one rudder is gray and the other is yellow, I would like to get them bask to white till I can afford to buy the EPO rudders this next summer. any suggestions? ![]() |

Take the money you will spend on possible cleaners toward saving for your new ones. Paint is your smartest short term option, but I'm not sure which type to use. |

Bar Keepers friend at the grocery store. Mildly abrasive and acidic. Should do the trick. |

Oxalic acid works great. It is used as a teak cleaner and is $5+or-. |

Thanks guy's for the replies, Jeremy, you feelin better man? Anyways tommorow is the big day!!!! new boat and I are going for a ride, I will let you know how it was... Hopefully everthing goes good. I have been through the boat with a fine toothed comb, but I may be calling you tuesday for parts man ![]() |

dude the boat is nice, i think i may be rigging the jib a little low on the chainplate? because evrytime the hull was ready to fly the leeward bow would dig in and spilling the jib a bit seemed to do no good? george |
