Bought a used H18. Previous owner had the sail cut, about 6" off the leach edge. What are the advantages to doing that? ![]() |

Keeping both hulls in the water more often, if that's considered an advantage. ![]() ![]() |

Perhaps that section/edge was damaged and rather then buying a new sail, they opted to attempt a salvage. |

It was not salvaged. The previous owner said that he had done it on purpose. He used to race. P.S. Got it up lately? |
