im looking at shipping a boat from california to japan? its a used 14 is it worth the freight ?

from cali to japan yes, Hobies are hard to get over there. We crate up several a year, local military base, and no one ever has a problem selling them over there.

You'll be charged by volume not weight so break the boat and trailer down. Se if you can score some 16 boxes and cut them down to fit. If there's space inside, pack 'em with soft stuff to save money on other boxes.

Hey Rich,
Break it all down wrap the xbars in bubble and come down here and get these Getaway boxes, before the rain melts them. I've got a ton of bubble wrap if you want it. Make sure the shipper loads it on the top!
