Post subject:  New Style Batten Caps

Does anyone know where I can get the newer style batten caps that Hobie has been using on 16 sails recently??? I had one of mine break and I'd like to replace it but I can only find the old style rectangular ones. I'd like to avoid putting more holes in my sail to install one of those old style batten caps.

Post subject:  Luff batten cap

If you are talking about the luff batten cap... front end that bolts / rivets to the sail:

The current cap has been used for a few years. It has a radius aft that helps to hold the batten end in the cap during hard reverse rotation situations and when the battens are loose in the pocket. It has a Hobie graphic molded into it.

The parts are in the catalog parts listing.

The new cap is shown in the parts list as # 12480000

The required rivet is # 8011101

Thanks Matt.
