Any chance anyone has any tricks or tips for "unsticking" a hotstick? |

Try this. Clamp the aluminum end in a vice, wrap the outer layer (moving part) with a scalding hot towel or cloth, twist counter-clockwise to release. |

spray some silicone down there first. then spray some when you store it and don't store it screwed down tight, leave it loose. |

yep, silicone spray works magic....but if you have sand in there, it can be a bit tricky though, perhaps try to rinse out all the sand first |

Submerse entirely in water, then gently work the parts trying to loosen just a little at a time. Once loosened, work the tiller in and out many times to flush the debris out. best with no grip handle on. If you have a cork ball, you may have to remove. |
