We are proud to announce the latest innovation to our catamaran line, the H16C. The H16C touts full carbon/epoxy construction over Divinycell foam core. The hulls are built using the latest infusion technology, which make for an extremely light and stiff platform weighing in at only 26 lbs each hull. The PBO rigging and carbon mast are tunable with patented Tension Adjust, making mast bend adjustable on the fly. The H16C all rigged up weighs in at 165 lbs, making it competitive with the ultra modern A-class designs and has a base rating of 64.6. The crossbars are all carbon extrusion with integrated hardware for an uncluttered look. The hulls come in clear carbon, but can be ordered in a variety of colors, check with your dealer. Due to the additional buoyancy, the H16C can be raced 2 up or casually sailed with 4 people on board. We are pleased to take this classic design and launch it into the future of sailing. WOW, and at a price we can afford, $2995.00 With Boeing not getting the tanker deal they will probably go out of buisness. Then all that carbon fiber will be available to build this boat cheap and sell it to the masses.

"With Boeing not getting the tanker deal they will probably go out of buisness." Please tell me that was in the spirit of April fools, and that you do not HONESTLY belive that Boeing is going to go out of bussiness because of the 767 tanker program. It might be the final nail in the coffin for the 767 production line, but Boeing still has the 737, 747-8i, and F, and 777, and 787 in production. Though only the 787 usues a composite fuse.

Good Joke !!! You know it would never work in the H16 class ... One-Design and all that .... but if you were to do that to the venerable ol' H18, us "18" sailors would move heaven and earth to get one of those ... a 200lbs (or less) H18 .... WOOF WOOF WOOF !!! Harry

Harry If there were a rich eccentric wanting to do that with H18 hulls for example (something that is out of production) I wonder what the legal implications would be. As in could one build (within the law) a pair of H18 hulls out of carbon or kevlar. In other workds would it be legal to make a mold from an old pair of H18 hulls and produce a carbon or kevlar replica. I know it would not be cost effective, but having seen the one pair of hulls cut up and thrown in the garbage truck the thought just came to mind.

Not a lawyer and don't even play one on TV... But as long as you didn't try to sell the hulls, I think you'd be fine. I shudder to think what it would cost. Brian C
