I rented a wave at nor Banks in Duck, North Carolina in 2000 when I was on my honeymoon. It was a beautiful area and we had a blast!! The water is not deep, but there is some great wind and Nor Banks Sailing has added a lot more boats, I think they will let you put your boat in there if I remember correctly. Here is their link. J.
