I have already posted questions about San Diego Sailing at Mission Bay, but I have a new dilemma my family wants to leave the boat there for a week. I already called Camp land, and they are booked, is there anywhere I can park my boat for a period of a week? Paid, free anywhere is ok with me. My family rented a home off of Nimitz, and I don't think I am allowed to leave it on the street, any ideas recommendations? Thanks, Luke |

When I was in Ft. Myers FL over Spring Break I had the same type of problem. The Condo we were renting from did not alow any trailers. What I ended up doing was finding a Storage Rental Place and they gave me a deal. I think I paid 1/2 month rent which was $50.00. I would go pick up the boat in the morning, drop it in the water and then return it late afternoon. It worked out great. |

Luke - You might be able to leave your boat parked on the street for a day or two & then move it to another spot. Check with S.D.P.D. to be certain. If you're in the military or work for the D.O.D., check with Fiddler's Cove Marina. If you belong to a yacht club, use your recipricals at the Mission Bay Yacht Club. If you strike out on the above three suggestions, talk to Ron Lane at the Fast Lane Sailing Center - our Hobie Dealer. (619)222-0766 Good Luck! Rich |
