If one wanted to order a 14 jib, would any of the colors from the new Cat Fever sail be available as options? My local dealer tells me Turqoise is available, but that wouldnt seem to match well. Can they order any of the colors below?

Thanks Matt. So is Turqoise the dark blue on the Cat Fever sail? Or could Aqua and Turquoise be switched on the color palette? The picture of the Turquoise jibs on variious Hobie dealer parts sites always looks much lighter. I’d like the jib to match the dark blue of the main.

The turquoise is the darker and what appears to have been used on that sail.

Hi,

I'm in the process of converting my H14 to the Turbo configuration, and I'm shopping for a jib.

I know that this topic was first posted over a year ago, so I realize that color availability has likely changed. (From the colors available last year, I would prefer the yellow, since the hulls and a large part of the main are yellow.)

My questions:

What is the current selection of colors in 6oz Dacron?

How do I go about ordering a custom color jib?

What is the price for the custom jib?

What lead time is involved?

John

I picked up a H14t last year and need to add the jib to match colors of an older mainsail. How would I go about placing that order? Is there a form that allows different panel color configurations? To be eligible for races/regattas would this need to be an official Hobie manufactured jib?

Thanks in advance,

Craig

I don't think anyone is racing with a jib on a 14?

Order from your dealer. They will contact our order desk with any questions.

The darker Turquoise is now out of stock.

Of the ones you provided, I like the color Yellow. But personally, I would like the option to select a color not from a given selection, but as the customer wants. I would very much like for myself the color of the Gold sail from the palette https://create.vista.com/colors/color-names/amber/. That would be cool!

We would normally only build a sail from the existing inventory of materials. But, recently we have been told that custom sails using this cloth are no longer an option and that going forward a sublimation process would be used on a grey goods cloth, so making specific colors and designs should get easier, but lead times will likely get longer.
