Dear Hobie® sailors,
August was a busy moth for the Hobie sailors around the world. Fiji had the Hobie Cat 16 BSP Oceania Championship and the Total Fiji Hobie Challenge. North America had the Hobie 18 and 20 North American Championships and the Hobie 1454 North American Championships. Jersey Island had the Channel Island Hobie Championships. The Netherlands had their Open Hobie Championships. Denmark had their Hobie 16 spi championships.
September doesn’t look like slowing down with Hobie racing. The German Youth Nationals and the following week end the Hobie 14 and 16 Championships. Tanzacat will also be run in Zanzibar. The North American Hobie 16 Championships at Pensacola will be running both an A and B fleet. This looks to be one of the largest Hobie 16 North American Championships in years. Entries are still available till the 7th September for the Hobie 16 North American Championships. There still maybe some quailty charter boats still available.
The EHCA, are happy to announce that the Hobie Multieuropeans 2016 will take place from 22nd-30th July 2016 at Lake Neusiedl in Austria. It is known for its beautiful nature and strong winds and already proved in 2003 and 2011 that it can provide perfect conditions for enjoyable and competitive Hobie racing. Be sure to save this date in your calendar – it’s going to be the biggest sailing event in Austria for the upcoming year. The organizing team is already working on a high level to ensure a great event for all Hobie sailors!
Tanzacat and Zanzibar Raid Notice of Race has a lot of detail also the web site is updated with all the news. This is a race of real challenges for the sailors. New Hobie 16 and 14 boats are available for charter. It is a great challenge racing in some of the best scenery. The party and food is truly spectacular. Enjoying fresh lobster after a day sailing on your Hobie. Plus an assortment of other food.
The Hogs Breath Café and Hobie Cat® AustralasiaHobie Cat Australian Championships is at Port Stephens. Port Stephens Sailing and Aquatic Club is just 2 1/2 hours drive north from Sydney, and Newcastle airport only 35 minutes drive.
The Notice of Race and Entry Form for the 2016 Philippine Hobie Challenge is available .This year the Philippine Hobie Challenge will conquer Southwestern Visayas with five breathtaking and enchanting island destinations to explore from February 20 to 28, 2016.
