Gull Lake Marine Open Kayak Tournament

Come join fellow kayak anglers to enjoy the Inaugural Gull Lake Marine Open Kayak Tournament & Get Together, a friendly, 100 percent-payback competition and get-together at Gull Lake Marine in Richland, Michigan (7 miles east of Kalamazoo).

The tournament starts at 8 a.m. Saturday morning from Gull Lake Marine and ends at 2 p.m. with food and refreshments served.

This is a fun, catch-photo-release tournament, allowing anglers to measure, photograph and release their two biggest largemouth or smallmouth bass, two biggest pike and two biggest panfish (see rules for complete list of eligible species).

Don’t want pay the $25 to fish the tournament? Come by with or without your kayak to hang out and enjoy free food and soft drinks at the awards ceremonies around 2 p.m. and have a chance to win one of many tackle door prizes!
