i know what you mean, Tom. I have a power boat with all the bells and whistles, radar--the works and what do I find myself looking forward to? yes--sailing and fishing my AI.

Have to agree with you Tom.
I have sold three other boats and just have the TI, and loving it.

By the way, I like a few of your neat but simple ideas for holding rods etc on your TI.

Love the rod holders on your aka. Do you leave your akas extended when beaching/landing and then remove the rods?

Either will work. With 2 fishing out of it, the fish is generally brought to the man in the aft seat who then lands it.

If the person in the front wanted to land it, he can have the Ama folded in. It doesn't interfere with the rod holders or the rod.

Tom, I don't think I was clear in my question. I was wondering if you can pull in your akas/amas while the rods are in your rod holders.

Tom,

I have been watching your mods and videos for a while and just now see that you are in High Point. Where do you sail and where do you fish? I live in Mooresville , sail Lake Norman when wind is up, spend several days a year in Ocracoke sailing and fishing my AI. Plan on buying a TI soon.

Most anywhere within about a hundred miles of here. The Yadkin chain, a few spots in VA, and the local city reservoirs.
