Just uploaded my latest video, titled 'Marlin are Mongrels'. I have used most of this footage in previous videos, but not edited together like this. Unlike the others, this is the marlin, the whole marlin and nothing but the marlin. I'm showing more in this clip than in the earlier ones and there's some footage no before seen as well. Also includes some play by play narration from Rhett Thorne, which turned out pretty cool. Some extra footage provided by Paul O'Leary & Holger Goehr and Carl Holland as well.

Magnificent! And a terrific video production as well!

I think the extra gentle release was a great show of respect for an awesome fish.

Wow. Light tackle and shallow water. Remarkable!

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. T'was quite an accomplishment I thought. Not so much hooking it in shallow water (Carl hooked one in half that depth the previous year) but bringing it in on 20lb line with an experimental knot certainly was :-)
