The ACT Hobie Island Club's October sail is on Lake Burley Griffin. When: Sunday 26 Oct 10:00am (I will be arriving around 9 am) Where: Boat Ramp next to the Canberra Yacht Club on Lake Burley Griffin After the sail I was thinking we could have lunch on the lawn in front of the Yacht Club. I might try some fish and chips from Snapper on the Lake http://www.cscc.com.au/snapper-on-the-lake/ This is a good opportunity to invite friends and family who don't normally sail to come down and join us for a bite to eat. Lets aim to have lunch at 12:30. There is normally a better breeze after lunch so we might want to keep our options open for a post lunch sail before packing up. |
