Hi folks, I am planning a weekend trip to Broughton Islands by Islands! Leaving from the ramp nearest to Tomaree in Shoal Bay, this is a nice offshore sail of around 12nm along the coast. If you are interested, please PM me your details so I can add you to the mailing list. This is a bring-your-own camping and eating provisions trip, weather dependent of course, and it will be prudent to carry some safety equipment, ideally including a VHF for group comms. Do not apply if the idea of baby mutton birds sitting on your lap scares you! (Camping platform rental available from NPWS). Aiming for 3rd & 4 December but could be changed by popular demand |
