I talked to them a couple of weeks ago while in the store in San Antonio.
One of the employees explained to me that Hobie kayaks are basically sold before they arrive.
I went on there website today to look at pricing and know ACK, if you buy a kayak from them, would give a 10% discount on accessories, however there website states Hobie doesn’t allow any additional discounts on Hobie accessories. Why Hobie is able to dictate this to dealers is beyond me. I would think if a dealer wants to give a discount to those that make large purchases and help promote themselves as well as Hobie would be encouraged?
