| Post subject: | Help with Hobie Mirage |
Well there we were, getting ready to pedal our kayaks out to Caladesi Island yesterday, when the rudder got very wobbly. We opened the hatch and discovered the plastic tie that attached to the steering mechanism was broken. I have no idea how to replace this tie, it is way the heck inside the kayak. How do you reach it? What did it connect? THis is a Mirage classic. Thanks in advance, again. Pearly28 |

The Classic steering lines can be re-attached by removing the steering control arm and pulling it aft and out of the 5" port in the strorage area. |
