I was noticing that one of the pedals on my Mirage V1 drive wasn't spinning freely any longer. I took the end cap off of the plastic pedal, sprayed a bit of break free on the bolt and attempted to remove the bolt. It sheared from the pedal shaft. I generally maintain my 2 V1 drives quite well, but this wasn't something on my regular routine (I didn't want the caps to loosen from repeated use). Is there a way to repair just this pedal shaft? Are the threaded ends part of the shaft, or can they be removed and replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the pedal arms are in great shape.
