I used a white marine epoxy, purchased at Ace Hardware ($3.99) to repair a somewhat large crack in the mirage drive well of my Hobie Outback. Had lots of water in the hull prior to repair. Had the Hobie rep actually attempt repair with the weld-gun and plastic glue but it didn't work. I applied it to the exterior of the boat (bottom portion of the hull) and just to make sure it didn't leak put a few strips of white duck tape on the expoxy before it dryed. Not a drop of water in the hull after repair, granted it didn't look real great, but on the bottom of the boat who cares. I would imagine you could do it in the interior of the boat but it might be harder to work with depending on where the crack is. Worked for me.
